Finding The Edge
When your new to Crossfit it is sometime hard to find the edge–that balance between walking the edge of the cliff, not falling off the cliff, yet not being 100ft from the cliff where you don’t get that adrenaline. We know it takes some time and we are here to help you find that sweet spot. That spot in the workouts where your heart is pounding like crazy, and you think you might die, and you want to quit, then you keep pushing through, and you see the light at the end of the tunnel. We know you can do it!
Welcome to all our new clients in 2009: Gradin, Vashti, Tanya, Doug, Anna, Jessica, Adam B, Al, Michelle M, Adam L, Donal, Ian, and Kevin. We are stoked to have you be part of our community!

Keeping it Real
We have watched Drew walk in with this godforsaken track suit almost every morning for the last couple of months! One day we finally asked why, why, why, Drew do you wear this track suit from the 1980`s? … It keeps me warm, he says. Simple and to the the point. Thanks for keeping it real Drew!
Get Some, Go Again
Doing 150 push ups is tough for anyone. But we know you can do it! We also know you need to chip away at it. So GET SOME (do as many as you can)…
rest for a couple of seconds, then…
GO AGAIN! Its possible.
Progress
We were hoping and wondering if the new space would make a difference in our athletes training… And we would have to say YES! Morgan had no kipping pullups when we opened over 10 weeks ago. Last week he decided to jump on the bar and see how many he could do without stopping… He did 19 kipping pullups in a row! Awesome job Morgan. We can’t wait to see your progress in another 10 weeks!
Handstands
There fun! They also increase shoulder strength and improve balance. Furthermore, Greg Glassman (founder of Crossfit), goes on to say that the analysis does not end there. "It increases proprioception and core strength that other protocols cannot, will not, deliver" . Here is a great video on how to practice handstands and modifications.
