Our DEMO session is a complimentary one-on-one training session. In this session you will learn more about our program and you will actually get to experience a CrossFit workout for yourself. The purpose of the session is to allow us to get to know you, what your goals and expectations are, your fitness level and experience, and what classes might work best for you when starting out. At the end of the session, we will go over our membership options and any other questions you may have.
Get Familiar with Crossfit and Crossfit Westside:
a) Check out our website. We have a ton of information on our website about us, our community, what type of workouts we do, videos, nutrition information and more.
b) Download a free copy of Crossfit Foundations.
c) Download a free copy of the Crossfit Journal titled What is Fitness.
d) Check out where it all started on www.crossfit.com. There is a ton of information on here including exercises and demos.

If you want to start immediately…
1)Go back to our homepage and start following the Workout of the Day on our website. These will give you a good example of the style of our training and classes. However, be forewarned, these workouts were designed for elite athletes and are very difficult.
Here are some suggestions on how to get started:
1)Learn the movements. 2) Go Easy: Try to do light weight, lower repititions, or rounds until you feel comfortable with the workouts. 3) Make working out a habit. Consistency is where it all begins. 4)After a month of training, try to pick up your intensity. Intensity is what makes Crossfit different from most other programs. 5)If you have no equipment, check out Crossfit Westside’sOn the Road Workouts. These workouts can all be done without equipment. 6)If you want to step it up, give us a call us at 604-628-2396 we would love to have you at the gym. We have found that the best way to get in shape is with a group.
